ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR MBBS:-

He or she must complete 17 years of age on or before 31st of December on the year of admission to MBBS in any Medical College throughout India.
He or she must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exams from central or state government exams with physics, chemistry and biology with English compulsory subject.
He or She must have scored 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for general Candidate and 40% for SC, ST, OBC candidate.

SC ST and OBC certificates won’t be valid if the candidate is writing some other state MBBS exams.
In case if he or she is a foreign origin they can apply with foreign qualification they will have to obtain the Equivalent Certificate from association of India Delhi who will equate their qualification to the 10th + 2 of India. It is applicable in some of the Universities. They will have to show that at the time of counselling.

In India total no. of Medical Colleges are 412 with almost 52275 no. of seats which includes both private and government college in all the states. Out of 124 Medical Colleges 212 Medical Colleges are Private with 25095 no. of seats, remaining 200 Medical Colleges are Government with 27180 no. of seats.
